Many business owners today are leaving a lot of money on the table by not having an internet presence and having a face book fan page is essential for social media advertising and to create back links to your site.

Dear friend,

In this day and age if you are in business it essential to have a web site and establish an internet presence of some kind.

With regard to building web sites there are so many options.

The first option is to build your own web site if you are technically minded.

It is true to say if this is the road you wish to take there is some amazing software available.

There is no need to learn html or Java; most web sites today are built using an html editor. To explain this in the simplest of terms if you are familiar with using Microsoft word this is basically how html editors work.

In my opinion, and from my own personal experience the best web site software is xsitepro. This is a very moderately priced, and very easy to use. Good support and online videos showing you how to do most things.

I build web sites for my own use in affiliate marketing and the small business owner that is unable to afford the software packages and does not have the time to learn the skills required.

If you would like an example of the web sites I have built using xsitepro  you can check them out here.

It really depends on the reasons why you need to build a web site, and what you are trying to achieve.

However there is like all software a learning curve to overcome. It really depends on how much time you are prepared to spend on building your web site.

What is involved in building a Web site?

  •  You are going to have to buy the software.
  •  You will need Ftp software in order to upload your web site to the internet.
  •  You also need to pay for a hosting package on a monthly basis to host your domain name.
  • You will also need to buy a domain name.

If this is the road you wish to explore then I highly recommend the xsite pro for your html editor. This is the software I use for all of my web sites there is an amazing choice of ready made ten plates for most small businesses.

However if you are looking to by-pass all of this and are looking for a simple web site then I can offer a service where I do all this for you depending on your requirements.

If you are looking for an E-commerce web site then unfortunately I am unable to help you in this area.

If you are not familiar with the term E- commerce it’s a web site for example: Amazon where people can buy physical products online.

What is on offer for me for a simple web site?

Depending on the work involved to build a web site there is a set up charge that starts at £150.00

Hosting per month £25.00 per month this can vary depending how much updating to your site is required.

There are many software packages out there on the internet, some good, and some bad the early ones were free for example Front Page, dream weaver, and many others at a small cost. However there is a steep learning curb with this software.

However, if you are looking for free web site software there is no shortage of these packages on the internet, but the problem is there are pretty hard to use and get your head around. In most cases you need training to how to use them.
